Rookie card can come with a variety of errors. Junk wax just means the cards were overproduced in that era, though many other base cards of years like 1988 or 1992 may be better in paper recycling. You may not get a high value unless it's graded a 9 or 10, but any key rookies will always be sought after and will hold value over their paper.
